Lesson 3 5 min
Keep your agent safe
Start on safe rules, test them with a sentence, and review what your agent did while you were away.
Safe defaults
On the agent’s Rules tab, each action is allowed, asks first or is blocked. Pick a preset:
- Cautious: asks before anything that changes a page.
- Balanced (the default): browses alone, asks before submitting forms.
- Autonomous: acts alone within the locked rules.
Start on Cautious or Balanced. Some actions always need you, whatever the rules say: before a payment, the agent stops and you finish it yourself, and passwords and sign-in, sending messages or posts as you, and deleting data always ask.
Test before you trust
On the Rules tab, Test a rule with a sentence like “click Reserve on booking.example” to check what would happen. Clicks that commit something, such as Reserve, Book, Confirm, Send or Buy, count as submitting.
When the agent asks, a card shows exactly what will be sent and which rule asked: Allow once, Always on this site (or Always allow), or Deny. A denied action is skipped and the agent continues without it.
Review what it did
Activity in the sidebar lists your agents’ answers, routine runs, approvals waiting for you and skipped actions, grouped by day. Click an entry to open the chat or thread. In a routine, nobody is there to approve, so actions the rules mark ask are skipped and listed here.
