API Health Check: a workflow with 7 steps, starting with Every 15 minutes and ending with Log the failure time. It has one branching point.

  1. Every 15 minutes (Schedule — open its doc page)Note: Runs every 15 minutes while the browser is open.
  2. Ping the endpoint (Http Request — open its doc page)Note: Requests your URL and, because status is included, exposes the HTTP status code for the check below. Swap in your real endpoint.
  3. Is it unhealthy? (IF — open its doc page)Note: True (top port) fires when the status is not 200. The healthy path (200) simply ends the run with no alert.
  4. Timestamp the failure (Get Current Date — open its doc page)Note: Captures the current date/time so we can record exactly when the failure was seen.
  5. Log the failure time (Data Store — open its doc page)Note: Writes the failure timestamp to the Data Store so you have a record of the last outage.

Overview

Pings a URL every 15 minutes and notifies you, plus logs the timestamp, whenever it returns a non-200 status — an integration-free uptime check.

Good for

watching a site or endpoint for downtime without a paid uptime service.

How it works

  1. Every 15 minutes

Runs every 15 minutes while the browser is open.

  2. Ping the endpoint

Requests your URL and, because status is included, exposes the HTTP status code for the check below. Swap in your real endpoint.

  3. Is it unhealthy?

True (top port) fires when the status is not 200. The healthy path (200) simply ends the run with no alert.

  4. Show the alert

Pops a high-priority notification with the failing URL and status. Only runs when the status is not 200.

  5. showNotificationNode-8-771

Pops a high-priority notification with the succesful URL and status. Only runs when the status is 200.

  6. Timestamp the failure

Captures the current date/time so we can record exactly when the failure was seen.

  7. Log the failure time

Writes the failure timestamp to the Data Store so you have a record of the last outage.

Setup

  1. Install / enable the awflow browser extension.
